We are pleased to have you staying with us in the near future, especially in these challenging times. We would like to assure you that we are following all protocols to ensure your safety and have been recently approved as a quarantine hotel. This status means that you would be able to stay at our property right from the start of your vacation.


Prior to Arrival
 

• Please review the Government information on www.gisbarbados.gov.bb regarding protocols.

• To enter Barbados you have to show a negative covid-19 test result

• Your transportation from the airport to Tropical Sunset can be arranged by an approved driver. Please confirm your arrival date and flight information so we would be able to provide you with a transportation quote.

On Arrival
 

• Please remember that you have to wear a mask when you are in any public area while at the airport and in transit to the hotel.  

• If you are already on the island and quarantining elsewhere and will be joining us after, you are required to email us a copy of the 2nd Barbados approved negative test result at least one-day prior to arrival.

• If you wish to quarantine at Tropical Sunset we will assist you to arrange the second test. The second test has to be done 5 days after your 1st test. This test can be done at one of the Polyclinics, free of charge, only the cost of transportation will apply. Alternatively, if you wish the test be done privately at the hotel from Sandy Crest Medical Center, this can be arranged at a cost of Bds. $600.00 per person.

 

During your stay

 

• After you received a negative test result you would have unrestricted movement on the island, however the same protocols for masks in public will apply.

• Health authorities will check with you via phone periodically and you are required to do a daily temperature check (please bring your own thermometer)

• If you had a reservation for a ground floor apartment you are required to quarantine in a designated upstairs apartment where you can enjoy time on the balcony. During this time you are not allowed to leave your room.

• We will supply you with fresh toiletries and towels on request. Daily cleaning of the apartment would not be available to minimize contact between our staff and yourselves. Meals can be ordered from Zaccios Restaurant and will be delivered outside your room. You can order directly via phone (432-0134) and request room delivery. Please provide your credit card information at the time of order.

• If you prefer to prepare your own meals you can order groceries through our reception and they will be delivered outside your room.

• After you received your 2nd negative test result you have to supply a copy of the result to us and you will be allowed unrestricted movement on the property and the island.

• You would still have to adhere to mask requirements.

Our safety protocols measures are in place for the benefit of both staff and guests, however, due to the unlikely exposure to Covid-19, guests who book and stay at our hotel assume all risks related and the hotel cannot be held liable.

If you wish to pre-order meals or groceries prior to your arrival please forward your request at least 24 hours prior to arrival. The requested items will be placed in your apartment for your arrival.
