Re: Room Rate Levy

We wish to inform you that the Government of Barbados under the Ministry of Tourism and International Transport has introduced to all accommodation providers a mandatory “Room Rate Levy” that will be applied per room, per night on all tourist accommodation, to be paid by guests for their stay. Effective April 1st 2019 the levy of US$4.38 will be added to your nightly rate.

This Levy aids in the country‘s tourism development.
